President Rodrigo Duterte has opted to report for duty in spite of the holiday. He visits six of the eight wounded soldiers — Cpl. Arjay Turingan, PFC Lorenzo Cagwayan, TSG Edwin Ramos, PFC Walter Dumpao, PFC Hart Blaine Acuat, PFC Ladne Basitao — in recent clashes with the Abu Sayyaf Group at a hospital in Camp Teodulfo Bautista in Sulu on October 31.
