We have po the latest update on the Resorts World incident coming from the Police Director Head of NCR, si General Albayalde po. And I believe there are several reports also coming up.

Na-identify na po ang suspect na nag-perpetrate po ng actions doon po sa Resorts World.

Ang pangalan po niya ay Jessie Carlos. Siya po ay… He is the husband of Jen Carlos of 1663 Felix Huertas Streetcorner San Lazaro dito po sa Sta. Cruz, Manila. Sila po ‘yung owner ng isang pre-school diyan. At according to her po ay siya ay, si Jesse Carlos po ay addicted to gambling. Iyon po.

So we just like to say that we like to put the worries of the general public to rest para hindi po sila mabahala kaya po minadaling mailabas ito para hindi na po naliligalig ang mga tao na that this could be some form of terrorist attack, hindi po.

This is the action of one person whose [inaudible] as formerly analyzed by the PNP that this was the — a criminal act perpetrated by an emotionally disturbed individual. So iyon po.

Also, we would like to give another update on Mindanao. As of today… As of 11 p.m., June 3, 2017, doon po sa Marawi, so far there have been 20 civilians that have been killed by local terrorist groups at ang mga na-rescue po ay 1,271 na.

And then regarding the enemy killed, there has been no change because we’re still awaiting for the consolidated reports. Meron pong 120 na napatay na mga kalaban po.

And then recovered firearms are 98. Government casualties those killed in action, 38; wounded in action, we’re still awaiting for consolidated reports.

Again, let me repeat that the current focus of operations remains to be as follows: Clearing of Marawi of militants who are still in the area; number two, the continued rescue of trapped residents in Marawi; number three, the continued recovery of civilian casualties and victims; and then number four, to assist the LGUs, the CSOs, the NGOs who are on relief operations.

Regarding po naman sa tinatawag na ongoing humanitarian pause. Kaunting ano po, kaunting preno, it’s a humanitarian pause initiated and led by Chairperson Irene Santiago of our peace panel and approved naman po kay General Eduardo Año, the Chief of Staff, to allow the entry of humanitarians from the LGUs, NGOs, and CSOs, in order to reach trapped residents and those needing assistance in the area of conflict.

The military, however, did not approve entry into high-risk areas to avoid putting our humanitarians in danger and any possibility that may complicate the situation.
