NEDA unveils strategies to safeguard food supply amidst El Niño
Sa naging press briefing ngayong araw, inihayag ni NEDA Undersecretary Rosemarie Edillon ang pagbagal ng inflation rate sa bansa sa 4.9% noong Oktubre kumpara sa 6.1% noong Setyembre.
Ibinahagi din ni Usec. Edillon ang direktiba ng Pangulo na tiyakin ang sapat na suplay ng pagkain sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagsuporta sa mga lugar na posibleng hindi gaanong maaapektuhan ng El Niño. Ilan sa mga hakbang ay ang pagbibigay ng subsidies at long-term investments sa agrikultura.
