The Bukidnon Provincial Agrarian Reform Coordinating Committee (PARCCOM) was awarded by the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council (PARC) Secretariat with a certificate of recognition for their successful initiatives, commitment, dedication, and exemplary contribution to the implementation of the agrarian reform program during the PARCCOM national conference held in Queen Margaret Hotel, Lucena City, Quezon province.
Ignacio D. Baquiler, Jr., Presiding Officer of PARCCOM Bukidnon thanked the PARC Secretariat for the recognition and said that they will continue to lead in the monitoring and coordination to ensure the efficient implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) towards improving the lives of the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).
Zoraida Ding O. Macadindang, Northern Mindanao Regional Director, expressed her sincerest gratitude to the Bukidnon PARCCOM for their dedication to the implementation of the CARP.
“The committee’s excellent work serves as an inspiration to other provinces of Northern Mindanao,” she added.
She disclosed that PARCCOM Bukidnon exerted extra efforts than what is expected from them for the agrarian reform program. Their initiative includes resource mobilization activities such as the generation of funding assistance for various livelihood projects of the ARB organizations (ARBOs).
“Bukidnon PARCCOM was able to source funds in the amount of Php2 million from the Provincial Government of Bukidnon through then Governor Hon. Jose Ma. R. Zubiri Jr. to support the various livelihood projects of the ARBs in the province,’ she said.
She disclosed that there are seven (7) livelihood projects determined by the ARBOs which include cattle dispersal, citronella oil processing facility, enhancement of rice production through the provision of post-harvest facilities, puto (steamed cake made from rice flour) and other Filipino kakanin-delicacies, and enhancement of corn production through the provision of post-harvest facilities.
“These livelihood projects are ongoing and the PARCCOM is actively monitoring the implementation of these projects to ensure that all issues are immediately addressed,” she added.
The DAR established the PARCCOM to act as a mechanism for collaboration and coordination between the national and local governments in the implementation of the CARP.

Nagpasalamat si Ignacio D. Baquiler, Jr., Presiding Officer ng PARCCOM Bukidnon sa PARC Secretariat sa pagkilala at sinabing patuloy silang mangunguna sa pagsubaybay at koordinasyon upang matiyak ang mahusay na pagpapatupad ng Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) tungo sa pagpapabuti ng buhay ng mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).
Ipinahayag ni Zoraida Ding O. Macadindang, Northern Mindanao Regional Director, ang kanyang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa Bukidnon PARCCOM sa kanilang dedikasyon sa pagpapatupad ng CARP.
“Ang mahusay na gawain ng komite ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa iba pang mga lalawigan ng Northern Mindanao,” dagdag niya
Ibinunyag niya na ang PARCCOM Bukidnon ay nagsagawa ng dagdag na pagsisikap kaysa sa inaasahan mula sa kanila para sa agrarian reform program. Kasama sa kanilang inisyatiba ang mga aktibidad sa resource mobilization tulad ng pagbuo ng tulong sa pagpopondo para sa iba’t ibang proyektong pangkabuhayan ng ARB organizations (ARBOs).
“Nakakuha ng pondo ang Bukidnon PARCCOM sa halagang Php 2 milyon mula sa pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Bukidnon sa pamamagitan ni dating Gobernador Hon. Jose Ma. R. Zubiri Jr. na suportahan ang iba’t ibang proyektong pangkabuhayan ng mga ARB sa lalawigan,” aniya.
Ibinunyag niya na mayroong pitong (7) livelihood projects na tinukoy ng mga ARBOs na kinabibilangan ng cattle dispersal, citronella oil processing facility, pagpapahusay ng produksyon ng palay sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng post-harvest facilities, puto at iba pang Filipino kakanin-delicacies, at pagpapahusay ng produksyon ng mais sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaloob ng post-harvest facility.
“Ang mga proyektong pangkabuhayan na ito ay patuloy at ang PARCCOM ay aktibong sinusubaybayan ang pagpapatupad ng mga proyektong ito upang matiyak na ang lahat ng mga isyu ay agad na natutugunan,” dagdag niya.
Itinatag ng DAR ang PARCCOM upang kumilos bilang isang mekanismo ng pagtutulungan at koordinasyon sa pagitan ng pambansa at lokal na pamahalaan sa pagpapatupad ng CARP.
