The government has been implementing a whole-of-government approach to extend services and assistance to the people, especially those who need them most.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. made the statement on Friday when he led the Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas in Dasmarinas, Cavite.
“Asahan po ninyo na inyong pamahalaan ay lagi pong nandito, lagi pong nag-aalalay po sa inyong lahat. Asahan ninyo hindi po kami aalis hangga’t kayo ay nangangailangan ng tulong galing sa pamahalaan,” President Marcos said during the event at the Dasmariñas Complex.
“Ako’y nadaan upang tingnan at tiyakin na maganda ang takbo (ng serbisyo), at ang inyong pangangailangan ay aming nabibigyan ng pansin. Aming natutugunan ang mga problemang hinaharap ninyo,” the President said.
The President said the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has organized a job fair to allow job-seekers to find employment.
He said DOLE extends livelihood project assistance through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
“Ito po ay upang tumulong sa mga nawalan ng trabaho o gustong magsimula ng kahit na mga kung ano-anong negosyo ay tinutulungan natin,” he said, noting DOLE also extended assistance to different cooperatives.
Twenty-five employers offered 2,700 jobs during Friday’s job fair.
Regarding medical assistance, the President said doctors and nurses were ready to provide care to Caviteños. A mobile laboratory, X-ray, and other diagnostic equipment were also on standby.
Health document processing stalls, such as PhilHealth ID cards, have been installed.
In addition to job fairs and medical services, the Department of Agriculture (DA) has created a Kadiwa outlet for the event, providing the public with affordable basic goods.
The President said he directed the DA to increase the supply of cheap rice to benefit more consumers. | PND
