In the spirit of Christmas, the second year of Nationwide Gift-Giving Day, “Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya” program returns to Malacañang this November 26, 2023 (Sunday) at the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacañang.
An initiative of the Office of the President thru the Social Secretary’s Office, more than 17,000 children from selected shelters and orphan care centers around the country will be the special guests for the festive occasion.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the President’s private support groups partnered together to organize the simultaneous celebration in over 250 locations nationwide.
Private partners also include Jolibee and San Miguel Corporation.
Among the largest participating centers are Cebu with 449 children at the Cebu Technological University in Cebu City and University of Mindanao, Matina Campus in Davao del Sur with 600 children.
