Marcos Jr., accompanied by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and the Philippine delegation, arrived at the Shangri-La Hotel to deliver his keynote address at the 21st International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue and took part in the Opening Ministerial Reception. The defense forum serves as a platform for global leaders, defense ministers, and experts to discuss security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. discussed further enhancing relations between the Philippines and Singapore during a meeting with Senior Minister H.E. Lee Hsien Loong. PBBM thanked H.E. Lee Hsien Loong for the invitation to deliver the keynote speech at the 21st IISS Shangri-La Dialogue, as well as the shared commitment to the 55 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
