PBBM opens Malacañang; offers free medical and dental, serbisyo and ‘Kadiwa’ caravans


President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. opened the Malacañan Palace on Saturday to welcome thousands who availed free LAB for all, Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair and Kadiwa ng Pangulo caravan as part of the Office of the President (OP) Family Day celebration.

In his speech, President Marcos said the Family Day celebration is his way of paying back to the OP employees who wholeheartedly dedicated most of their time working for the government. He said this is one way of giving them quality time to be with their loved ones through the Lab for all, Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair and Kadiwa ng Pangulo caravan.

The Family Day will run until tomorrow, December 3.

“Alam naman namin na napakarami naming pinapagawa sa inyo at kung minsan medyo mahaba-haba ang oras ng trabaho. Kaya naman siguro dapat once in a while makabawi naman at mabigyan kayo ng konting kasiyahan, lalong lalo na sa mga pamilya ninyo na hindi na kayo nakikita dahil sa haba nga ng trabaho,” President Marcos said.

“Kahit hindi natatapos ‘yung trabaho natin at least ay makapag-celebrate tayo nang kaunti. At kami naman na namumuno ng Office of the President, lahat po ng nandito ay parang ito na ang aming paraan upang magpasalamat sa inyong lahat, sa inyong napakagandang trabaho na ibinibigay,” he added.

President Marcos also extended his gratitude to the OP employees for their unwavering support and exceptional service to the government and their excellent service to the Filipino people.

“Ito na ay siguro, panahon na, pagkakataon na, na mag-relax kahit kaunti lang at makasama ang inyong mga mahal sa buhay at may kaunting handa,” President Marcos said.

President Marcos also greeted OP employees and their families of a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The President also announced two winners of two multi-purpose electronic bikes and 10 winners of housing units from the National Housing Authority (NHA).

Earlier in the program, President Marcos personally visited the Kadiwa ng Pangulo stalls, the services offered at the Serbisyo Karavan and the Lab for all boths where basic laboratory services were offered. PND
