President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday pledged full support for initiatives promoting tourism and arts in Davao region.
The President recognized the Panabo City National High School (PCNHS) for winning second place in the National Parol-Making Competition held recently.
The competition, now in its third edition, is a collaboration between the Office of the President, the Department of Education (DepEd), and the Office of the Social Secretary.
With the theme “Harmonies of Hope: Illuminating Filipino Resilience,” the competition featured 148 intricately designed Christmas lanterns crafted by public secondary schools nationwide.
The President underscored the significance of PCNHS’s accomplishment, which stood out among 148 public schools across the country to secure the prestigious second place. | PND
