President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) to prioritize the supply of potable water, food, medical aid and financial support to victims of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine and Super Typhoon Leon, according to Undersecretary Ariel Nepomuceno.
Nepomuceno said the presidential directive mandates sustained distribution of essential supplies to prevent disease outbreaks and address immediate needs of affected residents.
Nepomuceno vowed to support typhoon victims in repairing their homes and dealing with financial problems.
| PND
