President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged Filipinos on Monday to remember the typhoon victims and their sufferings in celebrating Christmas.
The President made the remarks on the sidelines of the 49th National Prayer Breakfast at the Malacañan Palace.
Kawawa naman at sila’y naghihirap,” the President added.
President Marcos said the government is now starting rescue operations as relief efforts to typhoon victims are continuing.
He said the government is starting rebuilding efforts with only a few days before Christmas.
President Marcos said he was saddened by the lone casualty in Camarines Norte during the storm. | PND
