QUEZON CITY, (PIA) — House Ways and Means Chairperson Joey Salceda today said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s first State of the Nation Address (SONA) is an opportunity. to highlight the foreign policy of his administration.
According to Salceda, due to the external economic threat being experienced by the country, highlighting the Philippines’ domestic and foreign policy is very important.
Members of the diplomatic corps were among the guests in this afternoon’s SONA to be held at the Batasang Pambansa Compound in Quezon City.
The solon said the administration’s priority is to find cheap food, oil, and fertilizer, among others, to effectively meet the needs of the country.
